INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY TECHNOLOGY (IT) SPECIALIST
LOCATION: Atlantic Beach, FL (Onsite to start, hybrid potential after onboarding)/(2-3 days onsite)
REPORTS TO: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
SALARY RANGE: Up to $80,000 annually, with potential increase post-transition from MSP

Initially, this position requires onsite presence, working alongside a third-party Managed Service Provider (MSP). As the internal specialist ramps up, responsibilities will shift in-house, and hybrid work flexibility (2–3 remote days per week) will be introduced along with a salary adjustment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, servers, and networking equipment.
- Format and manage Apple iPhones, MacBooks, and related devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues; resolve outages efficiently.
- Monitor system performance, security, and uptime; enforce internal data integrity standards.
- Develop and implement IT strategies that support business growth and secure operations.
- Draft and maintain internal IT policies, documentation, and process controls.
- Ensure data security protocols are in place for networks, endpoints, and users.
- Maintain backup solutions and support disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Utilize Microsoft SharePoint and Teams to enhance workflows and streamline communication.
- Configure and maintain user accounts, access permissions, and email systems.
- Support website updates and perform basic programming tasks for internal platforms.
- Train and assist staff in the use and oversight of AI-integrated company tools or systems.
- Provide IT onboarding for new employees, ensuring readiness and compliance.
- Remain available during off-hours for urgent IT incidents or critical updates.
- Perform other duties as needed to support the business’s technology environment.

Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience (4+ years) in IT systems administration and support.
Strong working knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
Hands-on experience with cybersecurity, firewalls, antivirus, and access control measures.
Proficient with Office 365 administration, especially SharePoint and Teams.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage IT projects and infrastructure.
Website editing/programming experience preferred.
U.S. Citizenship required, with an active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must pass background check, drug test, and any required medical or security screenings.
Must be eligible to access government/military installations.
Willingness to obtain job-related certifications or clearances if needed.
