Job Title: Employment Law Shareholder (Attorney)
Location: Tampa Office

Salary Range: $250,000 to $300,000

We are seeking an experienced Employment Law Attorney with at least 10 years of demonstrated expertise to join our growing team in Tampa, Florida. This is a shareholder-level role for an accomplished legal professional with:
Extensive experience advising and defending clients on employment law matters including:
- Wrongful discharge
- Workplace discrimination and harassment
- Reductions in force
- EEOC charges and FMLA compliance
- Expertise in compliance matters, employee policies, and handbook development
- A portable book of business reflecting proven client development and retention
-Collaborative mindset to work cross-functionally with attorneys across practice areas to expand client service offerings
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic counsel to employers on federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Handle litigation and administrative proceedings related to employment disputes
- Draft and review employment policies, contracts, and handbooks
- Advise clients on compliance with the ADA, ADEA, Title VII, FLSA, FMLA, and other employment statutes
- Manage and grow a book of business while contributing to broader firm growth initiatives
- Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with practice group leadership

Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 10+ years in employment law, preferably in a mid- to large-sized firm
- Book of Business: Demonstrated, portable client base essential
- Legal Acumen: Deep understanding of labor law, compliance, dispute resolution
- Collaboration: Ability to partner with other shareholders to grow client relationships
- Communication: Strong client advisory, negotiation, and litigation skills
- Leadership: Experience mentoring or leading legal teams is a plus
